A death in the family is difficult for all those involved. In addition to coping with the loss of a loved one, family members are also required to undertake the appropriate actions to carry out the wishes of the deceased. During such a difficult time Court proceedings, although often necessary, are not the foremost concern. Under such circumstances it is helpful to have the assistance of an attorney to ensure necessary documents are properly filed with the Court and the wishes of the deceased as set forth in estate planning documents are carried out.
